I recently came upon an interesting HRWiki talk page discussion, with no clear consensus either way. The email "cliffhangers" has two main Easter eggs, one of which references the other... however, it's not clear in which one the joke is initially established. I thought it might be interesting to make a poll on the subject, as the answer really just depends on your own sense of humor. Both Easter eggs involve a character falsely claiming to be the solution to a cliffhanger, and when met with skepticism, changing the subject to "sports team". The button for Homestar's Easter egg is placed above Coach Z's; however, in the Flash file, Coach Z's comes first. One camp believes that Homestar bringing up "sports team" makes sense given the water cooler setting, and that Coach Z's mention is a non-sequitur — others claim that as a coach, it's more in-character for Coach Z to bring it up first. And Coach Z stuttering "rumble dumble" before changing the subject (as opposed to Homestar doing it more abruptly) might imply Homestar's was a reference... but Homestar contextualizing the shift in conversation as "water cooler talk" implies the opposite. Additionally, some claim that "claiming to have stolen your computer" is absurd enough to be a parody of "claiming to be the Thnikkaman", while some see it as the other way around, with Homestar's claim being the more natural one and Coach Z's being an exaggeration of it. Personally, I'm on the fence. Hou 'bou you?

What if it's an endless loop of one referencing the other? Mind. Blown.
