With the universe (or at least our Interweb browsers) in imminent danger of becoming Flashless for the rest of eternity, I decided to start a series of polls I call Adobe Flashback. In these next some number of weeks, we'll be taking a look back at one of the many aspects that made Homestar Runner so unique: its interactivity. Games, secrets, menus — none of it would be possible without Flash (or as he's known by some, Barry Allen). Speaking of menus, this is a poll about those things. Each menu on homestarrunner.com has some neat theme or gimmick, as well as fun Easter eggs and small details. New or old Old or older, which one is objectively the best? (The answer is the current Games menu. It's a Games menu that is a game. How could anything be better than that?!)

This is a tough one for me. The scrolling shooter games menu is wonderful (I love the different power-ups and randomly chosen backgrounds), but so are all of the main pages (the Sweet Cuppin Cakes one and the 20X6 one were always two of my favorites), and I'm also quite attached to the sbemail menu, despite only ever really being familiar with the most recent version of it. (Fun fact, because I never heard the earlier scroll button raps, it took the HRWiki for me to figure out what the crap Strong Bad was saying. A "school of bartonés"? What is that, like, a type of fish?) The boring answer is that I can't pick a favorite. But I don't want to be boring, so I'll say the sbemail menu is my favorite.
I'm going to miss these interactive menus.
