Aside from the real actual Strong Bad Email podcast that aired in 2008, four hypothetical podcasts (I'm counting both from Fan Costumes 2016) have been discussed in recent-ish years — some obviously in jest, others... it's hard to tell. If you could donate to bring any of these projects to digital life, which would it be and why?

Yes. The answer is yes.
But if I really have to narrow it down to one... I like Fan Costumes, but most of the humor comes from Strong Bad's reaction to the visuals, so I can't imagine how that would work without that aspect. I'd also love to learn how to paint a star with a chipmunk tail to the sounds of Strong Bad's soothing vocals, but I can't imagine it lasting very long. 'Twould be more of a one-off joke thing, but hilarious nonetheless.
Marzipan's Answering Machines are always great. I love hearing about the everyday lives of these characters outside of toons, so more of that would be awesome. However, Marzipan's Answering Machine can't hold a candle to Strong Bad Emails, and hearing Strong Bad formulate a coherent response to such nonsensicality is a recipe for comedy bronze at least. However however, like Fan Costumes, the main thing sbemails have over Answering Machines is the cutaway gags and visual stuff, and it would be difficult to replicate that with sound. A sbemail podcast would prolly be more along the lines of Tandy-era emails that stick around the computer the whole time, which isn't bad, but Marzipan's Answering Machine is a series that thrives on its lack of visuals.
In the end, I have to choose Marzipan's Podcastnswering Machine. It's almost like a podcast already, and an entertaining one at that.
