Currently Strong Bad is the only Homestar Runner character with a presence on Twitter and Instagram, and as such, most of the Homestar Runner brand is communicated through Strong Bad's voice. But what if that was not the case and there was a second character who posted tweetwords and instant grams on social media dot com? That would be a kind of weird thing to do and I understand why the Chaps haven't done that, but if they did, what character do you think would be best suited to the role, and what sort of weirdness do you think would adorn their feed?
Only the main characters are included in this poll, but there's an "other" option in case you think, like, The Umpire should get a Twitter or something. (If so, do elaborate!)

I think Strong Sad, Homestar, and Strong Mad should all have their own accounts as first priorities. Lesser priority accounts include Coach Z, Pom Pom, and the King.

What would the Umpire even post? The latest scores for the CGNU golf club team? Maybe the stuff he was given by different Mookies?

Four votes for Homestar! Dang! While I agree he would be great, I'm casting my vote for @strongsadactual. In my opinion Strong Sad has the most fleshed out personality out of any non-Strong Bad character, and I think it would be super cool to see his inner thoughts/depressing ramblings/snippets of day-to-day life on the social medias. I'm picturing him posting long Twitter threads at two in the morning about some weird rock he found, or his reactions to a useless science fact he just read. For some reason I like the idea of Strong Sad having a very casual, lowercase-heavy writing style on social media and defending it as a stylistic choice (which I guess wouldn't be consistent with Strong Sad's Lament, but oh well, this is hypothetical anyway). Mostly I would just love to be able to read things written in Strong Sad's voice on a regular basis.
On the subject of fleshed out characters, though, maybe having an active Twitter account could help flesh out Homestar's personality more. Or any other character, for that matter. It would be very interesting.

I am pleasantly surprised by the attention this post is getting. That's more than twice as many votes as usual! Which isn't saying much, considering "usual" is two. But still! While I did vote Homestar for the comedy potential, Strong Sad was a very, very, painfully close second place. I just think Homestar's oblivious optimism would create a nice contrast with Strong Bad's cynical snarkmongering and make-funnery. I like to think of Homestar's reactions to fanart and such. However, I admit that most of Homestar's humor comes from his reactions to the world around him (as is the case with a lot of the other characters, I just realized), while Strong Sad would probably be more entertaining on his own. For some reason I find it difficult to imagine Strong Sad forgoing the caps. He seems like the type who would spend hours practicing the Shift key for maximum grammatical accuracy. What would the Umpire even post? The latest scores for the CGNU golf club team? Maybe the stuff he was given by different Mookies? This sounds amazing and I'm changing my vote. @ TheUmpireActual all the way. Make it happen, Chaps! (Also, thinking about the potential of social media for different characters is making me wish we got more Strong Bad posts. Like, not the Chaps using Strong Bad's voice, but things that Strong Bad would post, like we got in the early days. And now I'm getting nostalgic about a cartoon character's social media account, so this seems like a good time to end this inordinately long post.)
