(Original forum topic)This one is called "Two Truths and a Lie". The title pretty much explains the whole game. You give three statements about yourself, two of which are true, one of which is a lie. The goal is to figure out which of the statements is false.

Hey! Remember last spring over a year ago when I said I was going to put together some truths and lies for myself? I finally did it! You may now guess it down. Three truths, two lies.
- My mom works for Google.
- I've used the same iPhone 7 for four years.
- I don't have my learner's permit.
- My first job was a programming job.
- I know someone on the wiki personally.

Nice job. These are all just believable enough to be true, but also weird enough to be made up. I'm guessing... 1, 2, 3 are true, 4, 5 are false (or alternatively, 1, 2, 5 are true, 3, 4 are false). I had to guess twice just in case.

I had to guess twice just in case. * casts a hopeful glance around the rest of the forum *Okay! Time to reveal the answers. 1. My mom works for Google. True.- She doesn't work at Google, but she works on projects for Google from her current job. (You know those promo messages that appear below the search bar on Google's home page? That's her field!)
2. I've used the same iPhone 7 for four years. False.- I've never owned an Apple product in my life. Furthermore, I got a new Android phone two Decemberweens ago.
3. I don't have my learner's permit. False.- I do have my learner's permit. Ask me nicely and I may give you a ride to Babbage's. I don't have my license yet unfortunately, but with any luck I will by this fall.
4. My first job was a programming job. True.- I interned at a tech company this past summer. Prior to that I had never worked.
5. I know someone on the wiki personally. True.- Littlemisskitkat11, also known as la-pineapple-express, is a real-life friend of mine who I successfully hooked on Homestar Runner around 2018. She joined the wiki and forum at my suggestion.
So your first guess was 1/5 correct, and your second guess was 3/5 correct, if my mathence is good. I'm pleased these were so hard to guess!

Earlier today I was trying to think of more truths and lies for myself, but I was drawing a blank. Then, as if on cue, I ended up playing this exact game at a thing I attended, and suddenly I was hit with inspiration aplenty. So here are my extremely elaborate three truths and two lies. - When I was around 6, I thought Santa Claus was an extraterrestrial being with some sinister ulterior motive. I was terrified that my toys would end up blowing up the planet or something.
- I once took art comissions from two different people, and both comissions were supposed to be a surprise for the other person. Also, they were the principal and the vice principal of my high school.
- I used to write a near-daily webcomic, with over 600 entries posted over the course of five-and-a-half years.
- I was once pressured into doing stand-up comedy for my school talent show. It was uncomfortable and I still have nightmares to this day.
- This morning, my baby brother was carrying around an orange and calling it Baby Go Go. He also tried to feed it cereal. It was very adorable.

Ooh, I like this approach. This is a tough one. I'm going to guess that 3, 4, and 5 are true, and 1 and 2 are false.

Ooh, I like this approach. This is a tough one. I'm going to guess that 3, 4, and 5 are true, and 1 and 2 are false. I'm assuming you're the only one who's ever going to see this, so here's the answers. 1. When I was around 6, I thought Santa Claus was an extraterrestrial being with some sinister ulterior motive. I was terrified that my toys would end up blowing up the planet or something. False.- I never really believed in Santa in the first place. I just thought this would be a funny thing that a kid might believe.
2. I once took art comissions from two different people, and both comissions were supposed to be a surprise for the other person. Also, they were the principal and the vice principal of my high school. True.- It's a funny story, actually. The principal was leaving that year, so the principal and vice principal both wanted a group drawing as a goodbye present for the other person. (For the second commission, I just used a discarded draft of the first drawing I did, so that worked out well.) I got paid in cafeteria coupons, I think.
3. I used to write a near-daily webcomic, with over 600 entries posted over the course of five-and-a-half years. True.- Yep. I've been drawing comic strips about bugs since 2012, posting them on a blog since 2014, and now I'm looking into newspaper and/or online syndication.
4. I was once pressured into doing stand-up comedy for my school talent show. It was uncomfortable and I still have nightmares to this day. False.- Fortunately, this is false.
5. This morning, my baby brother was carrying around an orange and calling it Baby Go Go. He also tried to feed it cereal. It was very adorable. True.- Fortunately, this is true.
So, that's 3/5 correct. Not half bad. (Just three-fifths bad.)
