It's super cool! I love the additional graphics, the flickering on burninated tiles, the little animations, the incorporation of sound effects, and the intelligent game logic and dialogue boxes—it's all really well done, and kind of addicting. Here's a disorganized list of some of the glitches that I've found, in the hope that it might help somewhat. I'm sure you're aware of some if not all of these. - Ring of Voip and Ye Flask of Dennis don't recharge when they're supposed to.
- Sometimes Trogdor's sprite gets stuck and doesn't move from its tile for the rest of the game, even though the game registers his movement.
- Sometimes action cards stick around in my hand no matter how many times I use them.
- I got the "you've been hit by the archer; do you want to block?" message, then the box promptly disappeared and the text remained. I think the game got stuck shortly after that.
- I'm not sure if this is a real glitch or not, but it seems unclear sometimes whether getting hit by the archer affects my health.
- Sometimes, but not always, a burninated peasant doesn't burninate an eligible cottage it visits.
- Peasant walking onto a burninated cottage doesn't burninate the peasant.
- Sometimes winning with Trogdor's Fiery Rage doesn't seem to register as a win or a loss; the game just stops.
- It prompts me to spawn a peasant even when there's no eligible tile for a peasant to spawn on; I think it can be satisfied just by clicking on some cottage tile.
- Shot Put doesn't let me burninate a cottage. Also, when there's no available thing to burninate, it acts like my turn's not over yet and I have to manually pass.
- Sometimes chomping a peasant triggers peasant burnination, and burninating a peasant forfeits my remaining action points.
- Sometimes, instead of both knights moving once, one knight moves twice.
I also noticed that it's hard to follow what's going on during the countryside's actions—it would be helpful to have a visual of the movement card, as well as maybe doing the movements more slowly. Sorry for the long list! No rush on fixing! I'm really impressed that you were able to replicate the game as well as you did. Great job on this! Edit: I just found the "Taster's Choice" Easter egg. Nice.

Thanks a lot! That list is extremely helpful. I didn't even notice most of that stuff.
You see, throughout the coding process, I kept programming features and testing them, but these tests were very minimal, despite being such a large game. So by the time I was almost done, I had barely noticed any glitches. When I tried to play it through for the first time, I found a bunch of new glitches, and got a bit overwhelmed. I decided to give up and share it anyway. (It didn't help that this was programmed sporadically over the course of several months, so I kept forgetting how I programmed things, making troubleshooting quite difficult.) But this list gave me the motivation to try again, and a lot of the solutions ended up being surprisingly simple. Like, it turned out that a cottage was only listed as an "eligible cottage" when Trogdor was on it, which is why #6 and #10 didn't work.
I think I fixed all of them except the second half of #1, #8, and the first half of #11 (they're all working fine for me, so I'm not sure what's going on there), and the second half of #11 (I've noticed this, but I can't figure out what's causing it; also, it always burninates a few extra tiles whenever this happens, which is weird). And #12 may have just been a knight ending a turn on another knight's tile, which looks kind of confusing. I even fixed some stuff that wasn't listed, like random peasant disappearances, among other things. As for your phase 2 comment, I made it slower, and made the moving pieces glow for visibility. Also, peasants now have instant diagonal movement (i.e. northwest instead of north, west), which might help.
Hey, you think it'd be worth sending it on to Strong Bad? The Chaps have expressed interest in a digital version of the game, right?

Thanks for all the fixes! It plays so much more smoothly now, and the glowing-while-moving thing is a huge help visually. I had my first non-Fiery Rage win! To address specific bits of the above: I may have been thinking of the wrong item in #1. I know I noticed a couple items not recharging properly, but they seem to work now. #8 only happened to me once, and #11 hasn't been happening since the fixes (I'm not sure what was going on either; it's possible that something on the board was just confusing me). You may be right about #12. Here are some more glitches I've picked up: - One of the movement paths is west-west-north-east-south, which takes the pieces in a weird loop. You probably meant west-west-north-east-north.
- There was one game where I tried to use the Ring of Voip, but none of the tiles were selectable so I couldn't teleport.
- I don't always have the option to use the Disk of Healing when I should.
- This only happened once, but I think at the start of one game, it had player 1 take two consecutive turns.
- Minor issue, but a couple of times I noticed that the "spawn x peasants" header didn't appear during peasant spawning (I think it still said "Trogdor's turn").
- There's some glitchiness on the keeper/item selection screens at the beginning that I found by choosing a high number of players and using the "choose" feature a bunch.
- I think I once saw a burninated peasant visit the lake without being extinguished (though I've definitely seen extinguishment happen properly on several occasions).
- This could be a glitch or just something you forgot: when a tunnel is warped, pieces on the respective tiles don't move with them. Also—I tunnel warped the lake once, and it resulted in the lake tile being temporarily duplicated.
- Mistake in my favor: That Dog Tennis Ball Thing recharges instantly if I use it while on a corner tile (I think it should only recharge when you step onto it).
- I'm not sure, but I thought I saw a burninated peasant set another peasant aflame without touching it.
- Once I wasn't given the option to burninate an eligible cottage whose tile I was standing on (as was a knight).
- Once a knight didn't repair a burninated cottage he walked onto (it was the last tile in his path).
- A couple of times I'm pretty sure I've taken damage with an empty Trog-Meter without triggering Fiery Rage.
- Shot Put still doesn't let me burninate eligible cottages, nor does That Dog Tennis Ball Thing.
- Using That Dog Tennis Ball Thing at the start of my turn gave me an extra action point.
- One time I was almost certain I had completed all the objectives, but it didn't count it as a win. Then at the start of the next turn, the game just stopped. This may be related to #8 in my first post.
Here's another suggestion: maybe some text/visual that reminds you which win conditions you've fulfilled and which you still need to fulfill? Might be helpful. I think The Brothers Chaps would be pretty dang impressed with this. I say go for it.

Thank you twicemuch again! 1, 2, 6, 9, 11, 14, and 15 have been fixed. I don't recall experiencing 3, 4, 7, 10, 12, 13, or 16, and don't know what to do about them.
3. Are you sure there was a peasant in the Void? (A peasant has to have been burninated without using Ye Flask of Dennis.) 5. I'm not exactly sure what the problem was, but I simplified the coding by showing an unchanging peasant graphic (like on the movement card) instead of a changing number, so hopefully that helps. 8. I didn't include that for technical reasons. It's the only intentional change I made from the original game, if I recall correctly. I forgot to explain that in the card text. Also, I've experienced the second thing, but I'm not sure how to fix it. 11. This was also intentional. I originally thought the knight would just repair it instantly, but upon closer inspection, it appears that the knight only repairs during phase 2, so I removed that restriction. 12. Are you sure you weren't using Worchex or "Troghammer only" in the settings?
Also, progress text has been added! With a percentage even!

The progress message and the peasant graphic are good changes! 3. Are you sure there was a peasant in the Void? (A peasant has to have been burninated without using Ye Flask of Dennis.) A peasant should also go to the Void any time Trogdor takes damage. 12. Are you sure you weren't using Worchex or "Troghammer only" in the settings? I definitely didn't touch the setting, but I could believe I was using Worchex and forgot.

A peasant should also go to the Void any time Trogdor takes damage. Wait, how on Earth did I forget to program that? Well, it's fixed now. Also, item selection now shows recharge info (that's almost a tongue twister), and no two people are not on fire can have the same Keeper or Item.
